About
Who is this Roy character? And why is he so pervious? I often wonder the same thing. In my observing of this strange specie, I found out that Roy is quite interesting. He enjoys dry sarcasm and subtle humor. In his spare time he enjoys liberating Phoenicia from fundamentalist zealots and seeks to restore the old Hohenzollern empire, Prussia. He reads of Bismarck and Machiavelli, Hayek and Friedman, and hides in corners when in the presence of elitist socialists. Taxation scares him and big government induces to him cataclysmic seizures.
Roy has written for the infamous Centurion on Rutgers Campus. You can find more here.
During the Fall semester of his Junior Year at Rutgers University, Roy taught a history course for Freshman titled, “Exploring History: From Waterloo to Sarajevo”.
He also sold his soul to Liberty and Freedom by working for the Young Americans for Liberty for a semester and is the charter Editor-in-Chief of the Foreign Policy Handbook. You can read his articles here.
At one point, Roy even wrote for ParcBench.com about cultural elites, MUSE (which also made a special appearance on the “Liberty and Economics Review“), and also a sarcastically dry piece on college life.
Roy also had the privilege of asking Dr. Ron Paul a foreign policy question at CPAC. And although he was nervous up to his knees, it was a moment he would never forget.
At home, Roy is a County Committeeman in his Election District in Brooklyn. He is the Communication Co-Chairman of the official Brooklyn Young Republicans Club.
Roy also helped on several political campaigns including that of Jonathan Judge for City Council of New York and Bob Capano for State Assembly of New York.
Mr. Antoun also served as the Rutgers Debate Union Web Administrator and Varsity Debater.
